Restored low pile Najafabad rugs are knotted in Iran. The rugs here are built on mainly cotton foundations, using tightly knotted wool for the pile. The design has similarities to Isfahan and Kashan rugs, using curvilinear and floral patterns. The colours are used to brighten up a room, mainly red, green or powerful blues.
Please note due to the fact that the carpet is being restored, there can be reasonable wear on the carpet. However this is a high pile rug.
Size can vary between few centimetres of length and width as its a hand-knotted carpet.
This is a worn low pile rug.
